From an early age, I’ve felt the quiet pull toward a creative life—an instinctive urge to make, to explore, to express. Passion has always been my compass, guiding me through many mediums. Yet, time and again, I return to the tactile poetry of fabric, thread, and form.
As a textile artist, I’ve explored quilting, fabric design, and mixed media art. Photography first entered my practice as a way to build a personal archive of reference images. But what began as a practical tool soon became a love affair—especially with macro photography, which invites me to notice the quiet details: the curve of a petal, the shimmer of a leaf, the delicate hum of bees in the garden.
More recently, I’ve discovered the meditative beauty of Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). This mindful photographic technique allows me to paint with light and motion, capturing abstract impressions of the bush and garden in a way that feels both grounding and expressive. ICM photography has become a growing passion—an extension of my desire to create art that invites stillness, reflection, and connection.
A pivotal moment in my creative journey came during a workshop in the USA, where I learned to print digital images onto fabric. This experience transformed my practice—deepening my identity as an artist and opening new pathways for integrating photography into textile design. Printing images onto cloth allowed me to merge macro and ICM photography with surface design, helping me build confidence and develop my own range of photographic fabrics and quilt panels.
Today, I create intentional, handcrafted art that blends macro photography, ICM, surface design, and textile techniques. My work is inspired by nature, quiet rituals, and the joy of making. Whether I’m stitching a quilt, designing a fabric collection, or capturing painterly light through the lens, I aim to create art that feels beautiful, grounding, and alive.
